Interactive sessions include student participation in creating emotional scenarios and demonstrating facial expressions using various dramatic skill sets. For example, joy & pain. Students will be required to duplicate and create emotional paradies.
Praise & Worship
An indepth study of Praise & Worship will be provided by studying biblical scriptures as a foundational base to prepare students to effectively dramatically convey the word of God using mime.
Dramatic Skits & Mime Movement
Students will be taught a dramatic mime skit and methods of classical mime movements.
Make-up Artistry & Costuming
Instructor will provide information and demonstrate how to apply and remove make up, as well as order professional makeup and obtain supplies. The Instructors Make-Up Application DVD is available and sold separately for $39.99!
Costuming
Detailed information is given on the representation of classic mime costumes and how to create innovative costumes to meet individual and group needs.
Music & Sign Language
Instructor provides foundational principles on how to select appropriate music and, as a bonus a session of American Sign Language is included to enhance optimal performances.
Space & Props
Instructor provides professional advice on how to visually pre-inspect and utilize space from the smallest forum to the largest and if and when to use props.
Starting a Mime Ministry
The workshop concludes with "professional testimonials" of the business of ministerial mime and how to start an effective, productive mime ministry.
